Wedding photography has taken me throughout Australia – from Perth to Brisbane, Sydney to Melbourne – to many corners of New Zealand and now back to my Auckland base.

Ironically, as a kid traipsing around a farm in the back-blocks of rural New Zealand, I’d never have dreamt of ending up a photographer shooting for magazines, newspapers, corporates, charities and more.

There’s nothing like being handed a camera at 18 years of age and told to justify an article on people in all walks of life throughout Australasia – from farmers to All Blacks, politicians, new cars and rocks stars …… plus write about them on many an occasion.

Almost 20 years on, well, I’m thankful for the push – one that has seen me commissioned for wedding, portrait and corporate photography on both sides of the Tasman.

Thanks to an equally fulfilling career in journalism, communications and public relations – often with world leading brands and with camera in hand – I’ve worked with a vast array of clients and in all manner of situations.

I’ve learnt the art of putting people at ease and working with them to ensure a great result for both parties, every time!
